Preparation

- 1
Preheat your grill to medium heat, around 250-300°F (120-150°C).
- 2
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs.
- 3
Season the ribs with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- 4
Place the ribs on the grill, bone-side down. Cook for 2.5-3 hours with the lid closed, maintaining a consistent temperature.
- 5
Check the ribs for doneness by bending them; they should crack easily. If not, continue cooking.
- 6
Brush the ribs with BBQ sauce and cook for another 15-30 minutes, flipping occasionally, until the sauce is caramelized.
- 7
Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before cutting.
- 8
While ribs are baking, toss asparagus with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- 9
Spread asparagus on a baking sheet and roast for 12-15 minutes, or until tender.
- 10
Serve ribs with roasted asparagus.
